Love Never Ends

“I have loved you with an everlasting love;
therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.” (Jeremiah 31:3)

The love of God did not end at the cross, He continues to pursue us and draw us to Himself. What a comfort it is to know that is never going to end. We can not earn it, so we can not lose it. “If we are faithless, he remains faithful” (2 Timothy 2:13). 

With each passing year, may our hearts marvel that the Creator of the universe, our all powerful God, loves us so deeply that He came to rescue us from our own folly, sin and shame. He set the bar in what it looks like to love not only in word but in deed. 

I pray that you will rest in the deep and abiding love God has for you this Christmas.
